1) Different color printers (ink-jet, color-activated, LED color-coded) differ in their product characteristics (printing language, consumables characteristics, imaging principles, etc.)

2) Even if the same device of the same brand uses different papers, the effect of the paper on the toner/ink adsorption is not the same;

3) Even if the same paper is used, the new machine state of the printing apparatus does not have the same effect on the color as the middle/end state of use.

Therefore, it is necessary to use ICC color management tools to periodically make ICC curves for different devices and different papers, and use the curves as compensation to calibrate the printer to an ideal condition.

After the ICC color curve calibration, the color accuracy of the printer can be improved to be closer to the original.
