The subject of "Eleventh Five-Year" National 863 Program Virtual Reality Topic "Research on Key Technologies and Prototypes of High-Performance Low-cost LCOS Micro Projector" passed the acceptance in Shenzhen.
The subject studied low-cost SVGA LCOS display chips, small-size high-efficiency LED light source modules, high-performance compact reflective display micro-optical systems, multi-mode video signal color reproduction, integrated opto-mechanical compact design and heat dissipation, etc. Key technologies, such as LCD crystal implantation, new micro-display integrated packaging, low-temperature light source opto-mechanical integration, and other process technologies were explored. On this basis, a 50Lm SVGA LCOS micro-projection prototype was developed. The subject has initially realized the mass production of LCOS micro projectors, which has played a positive role in promoting the industrialization of LCOS micro projectors in China.
