Tria designs a comminution/refeed system

An extrusion-OPS (orientated polystyrene) sheet manufacturer will need to use a specific system for online recycling of web trim (thickness 30-700 microns, width 100-250 mm), 15 meters away from the mill Inhale scrap. Lightweight scrap is sucked by the Venturi system (with a fan that is compatible with the effective distance) and is then taken up at high speed into underground piping systems to avoid interference with the production line. The dedicated hoppers are equipped with electric/pneumatic doors to facilitate the selection of a feeding system and the closing of another system so that the two types of feeding do not interfere with each other. The caster is equipped with a caster on the base to facilitate positioning on two different rails depending on the width of the trimmed sheet. The crusher movement is controlled by an electric system. A set of 18.5 kW fans through the air volume control valve, the same amount of crushed material discharged from the crusher, to ensure that the crushed material can be transported to a distance of 70 meters and a height of 0.7 meters.
