5 product structure. Different products often have different structures, some are not pressure resistant, and some are afraid of impact. Only by fully understanding the product structure can different products be properly packaged.

6 product value. Different products have great differences in value, and those with higher value should be considered.

7 Product hazard. For flammable, explosive, toxic and other dangerous products, to ensure safety, there should be precautions and specific markings on the outside of the package.

(2) Impact of the environment on the product

Products in the circulation process will encounter different environments, and they will have different effects on the packaging. Therefore, appropriate measures should be taken.

1 weather conditions. There are mainly sunshine, temperature, humidity, rain and snow, and air. They have different effects on different products, which need to be considered separately for different meteorological conditions.

2 loading and unloading conditions. It should be considered whether it is manual loading or unloading, as well as the number of loading and unloading conditions.

3 Shipping conditions. During the transportation process, the product will be affected by impact, vibration, etc., and different transportation tools will have different effects on the packaging. Mainly consider product fixation and buffering.

4 Storage conditions. Storage stacking code should be used to examine its compressive strength. In addition, the storage is also divided into indoor and outdoor storage, the former should pay attention to moisture, mildew, waterproof, etc.; the latter should pay attention to rain, snow, sun, wind and so on.

(3) Selection of packaging methods

The choice of packaging method is very important for product protection. Only by comprehensively understanding product performance and circulation conditions, formulating several plans and conducting economic evaluation can we find a suitable packaging method.

1 Select the packing material. According to the performance of the product, select the packaging material suitable for it to make the packaging container, and at the same time, select the appropriate accessory packaging material to package the product.

2 Select the packing method. According to the requirements of the product protection strength, easy to use, easy to mechanical loading and unloading and transport, etc. to select the appropriate packaging process and packaging methods.
