Fault one: short circuit between turns of the oscillating booster transformer

Phenomenon: the camera tube does not flash

Check with an oscilloscope, the result is that the synchronous trigger pulse of the microcomputer is available, but there is no voltage across the flash tube. Check the circuit board, its transformer has been burned. Put on the domestic transformer BK-40, use the manual button to flash the flash, and find that the current of the old secondary V power supply of the transformer changes greatly. It is suspected that the inter-turn short circuit of the oscillating booster transformer burns the original transformer. After testing, it is short circuit of one winding of the oscillating booster transformer. After rewinding, the fault is eliminated.

Fault 2: There is a problem with the flash trigger circuit

Phenomenon: the camera flash does not flash

First detect the synchronous trigger pulse sent by the computer, the result is normal. Then manually test the button, the flash can also flash normally, indicating that there is a problem with the flash trigger circuit. After checking the circuit board, it was found that the control of the triode MPSA64 is not normal. The tube is a PNP Darlington composite tube. Instead, use two PNP tubes C9012 composite, troubleshooting.

Reason 3: The computer self-test is not normal

Phenomenon: the self-test is not normal after the computer is turned on, the camera flash does not flash

First check the microcomputer and find that its internal CMOS programs and peripheral programs are normal, so it is suspected that the internal graphics card is damaged. After replacing the display card, the microcomputer works normally, the synchronous trigger pulse is normal, and the flash can also be triggered synchronously, but there is no printed product pattern on the display, and the screen is black, and it is suspected that there is a camera problem. After inspection, the peripheral power supply of the camera is normal, and the problem may be the internal power supply.

Turn on the camera, and there is a large power integrated block inside that is damaged and cannot be repaired or replaced. After checking the internal circuit and consulting the data, after adding another power supply replacement, the camera resumes normal operation.
