Researchers at the University of Minnesota in-depth analyzed data from the Women's Stable Movement Study, which included 391 pre-menopausal women who were accustomed to sedentary, healthy, and young ages.

These women were randomly divided into two groups. One group served as a control group and there were 179 women. They also maintained a static and less exercise lifestyle. The other group, as an intervention group, had a total of 212 women who needed to perform five times a week. Intensive aerobic exercise for 30 minutes each time for 16 weeks.

Aerobic exercise for women in the intervention group included pedaling, climbing stairs or exercising on exercise equipment.

The researchers also tested their urine samples before and after the study to understand hormonal changes.

The results of the study showed that women with moderate to strenuous exercise have lower estrogen levels in their bodies. And those who did not exercise had no change in the level of harmful substances in estrogen.
