A tea bagging line developed specifically for Premier and equipped with a quick change box system

Ilapak assembles a fully automated tea bag production line for Premier Foods to package bags produced by British Airways. This computer-controlled production line includes the Ilapak Alfa 700 PC bag packer, conveyor and counting system. In addition, the production line is connected to a polyethylene bag production line to produce composite packaging.

Ilapak company said that after all parts of the production line are connected, the maximum speed of the entire production line can reach 120 bags/minute. The new line is also equipped with a cartridge-based modular change box system, which Ilapak developed specifically for Premier Foods. The use of this production line by Premier Foods not only improved productivity but also saved a lot of labor.
