In printing, the rules line is the basis for accurately overprinting each color picture. The overprint accuracy of the gauge line is one of the most basic and critical criteria for measuring the quality of a printed product. Complete overprinting of the rules line is mainly achieved by the positioning rules in the machine.
The shortness of the rule in the J2108 and J2205 offset presses is mainly divided into two parts: one is the front rule that controls the longitudinal position of the paper; the other is the side rule that controls the lateral position of the paper. The overprinting of the side plan line is mainly based on the side convention moment, while the side convention moment is a complete independent body from the control part, and the adjustment range is relatively small. The accuracy of the front gauge is not only related to the front gauge itself, it also often involves the components of the entire machine. Its overprint accuracy is closely related to other agencies. Therefore, the overprint accuracy of the front gauge line is naturally the difficulty in registering the rules.
With years of work experience, we have found that the positioning time of the paper at the front gauge is a key factor affecting the accuracy of the front gauge overprint. Paper from the feeder reaches the paper and passes through the paper platen to the front gauge position, which is controlled by various control components. Due to the influence of factors such as the condition of each component and the adjustment accuracy, it is not guaranteed that the absolute accuracy of the paper reaches the front gauge position. At this time, the paper needs to be positioned at the front gauge to eliminate the accumulated error of the paper due to the control of the paper feeding components. The paper positioning error caused by the paper can make the paper in a stable position at the front gauge to ensure the accurate paper feeding of the paper-feeding teeth, thus ensuring the accurate overprint of the front gauge. At this time, if the positioning time of the front gauge is short, when the paper feeding is accurate, each paper can be guaranteed to reach the front gauge position stably, and there is no impact, rebound, etc., then the accuracy of overprinting can be guaranteed. However, due to factors such as technical level, production process, and manufacturing accuracy, the process of the paper from the discharge of the paper to the front gauge at the time of passing through the paper controls the control of the paper by a plurality of control parts, which inevitably results from the control of the components. The error affects the accuracy of the paper feeding. The paper that feeds near the stable position is positioned accurately. If the paper deviates from the stable position, it will not be positioned and stabilized and it will be stamped by the gripper into the roller stamping. At this time, overprinting is not allowed.
The best way to solve this problem. It is to extend the positioning time of the paper at the front gauge, making the input paper more stable, and the paper deviating from the stable position is stabilized after enough time positioning at the front gauge to ensure the accuracy of the paper crepe. The pre-regulation time must be determined by the accuracy of the paper feeding accuracy of the machine. If the accuracy of paper feeding is poor, the positioning time should be longer (referring to a certain range). Otherwise, the positioning time can be shortened. The general adjustment method is as follows:
1. Press the button to make the front cam rotate to the large surface and the bearing of the pendulum rod, then the pendulum is in the highest position (as shown in Figure 1).
2. Adjust the hex nut on the lever so that the upper end of the nut is approximately 10 mm from the lower end of the bearing, and then tighten the hex nut.
3. Adjust the front gauge cam so that the front gauge lifts within 70° to 76°.
4. Press the button to make the machine rotate one week, observe whether the front ruler will touch the paper feed teeth, if it touches, adjust the front gauge cam until it does not touch.
Adjusting according to the above method can make the front gauge overlay more accurate and stable.
