1. The quality standard of insulating oil should meet the GB7595-2000 "Performance Standard for Transformer Oil in Operation". In GB7595, the requirements for moisture in insulating oil are:

2. The standard method of measurement is GB7600-1987 "Determination of Moisture Content of Transformer Oil in Operation (Coulomb Method)".
3. When measuring the moisture of the insulating oil, it is recommended to inject 1 mL and set the sample volume in the sample parameters to 1000 uL so that the instrument can automatically calculate the moisture content correctly.
4. The 1mL sampler needs to be dried before taking the sample. After drying, the sample is washed 2-3 times before the sample can be injected.
5. The moisture in the insulating oil exists in three states: free water, dissolved water and emulsified water. Before taking the sample with the injector, shake the insulating oil in the sampling bottle and then take the sample. this point is very important.
6. It is recommended to use a pyridine reagent for the reagents used for the measurement (ie, the electrolyte). The pyridine has a solubilizing effect and is helpful for measurement.
7. After multiple sample measurements, the solution in the cell bottle will approach the inlet, affecting further sample measurements. At this point, you can stop and after a period of time, the reagent will stratify with the sample. Take a large sampler, such as a 100mL sampler, and set a hose (the hose for the bottle). The upper oil sample is taken out and the reagent can continue to be used.
8. When the reagent is just adjusted, the color of the reagent in the electrolytic cell bottle is light, and the color in the electrolytic electrode is dark. At this time, the measurement result will be too small, and 5uL water can be injected by using a 50uL injector. Then, after waiting for the electrolysis to complete, the color of the reagent inside and outside may be almost the same, and the result value will be more accurate.
