Hong Kong University of Science and Technology successfully developed the first unmanned vehicle in Hong Kong

On October 30th, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, members of the R&D team were debugging unmanned vehicles. On the same day, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology announced that the teachers and students of the Institute of Robotics have developed the first unmanned vehicle in Hong Kong with many innovative features. The R&D team led by Liu Ming, an assistant professor in the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at HKUST, developed an advanced unmanned vehicle integrated system that includes an inductor system and a dynamic modeling system. They also developed a specially designed console that unified control of the dynamics of the unmanned vehicle, including wire-driven steering, acceleration and braking.
