The basic solution of anti-static hazards:

1 Electrostatic grounding: the conductor in the electrostatic field must be reliably connected to the ground, and no isolated conductor insulated from the ground shall appear. The total grounding resistance should be small in any case

6 to 10Ω. When electrostatic grounding is shared with other grounding systems, the grounding resistance can be determined according to the requirements of other uses. For the specific method of electrostatic grounding, please refer to the relevant electrostatic grounding regulations.

2 Increase the relative humidity of the air: Increase the relative humidity of the surrounding environment of the hydrophilic insulating material to prevent the accumulation of static electricity. In places where the quality of the product is not affected, the relative humidity of the surrounding environment of the charged body is increased to more than 70%, which can be used as an electrostatic safety measure.

3. Use static eliminator: Use the static eliminator installed near the charged body to ionize the air to eliminate static electricity. The static eliminator should be selected according to the level of the electrostatic potential of the object, the requirements for elimination, the operating characteristics, the explosion hazard zone level, the media level, and the group.

4 Types of static eliminator: inductive static eliminator; high voltage corona discharge static eliminator; ion current static eliminator; radioisotope static eliminator.

5 When using high-voltage corona discharge and ion current static eliminators in areas where there is a risk of explosion, explosion-proof static eliminators must be selected according to the hazardous area level, medium level and group.

6 The discharge electrode length of inductive and high voltage corona discharge static eliminator should be greater than the width of the charged body by 10 to 15 cm; the type and number of ion spray heads of the ion current static eliminator should be determined according to the possible installation distance and the width of the charged body.

7 Principles for choosing the installation location of static eliminator: easy to operate; good effect of eliminating static electricity; immediately follow the subsequent parts of applying solvent; avoid metal background.

8Material matching: Match materials in the order of electrostatic charging sequence to minimize the transfer and accumulation of charge in the production process (see Appendix E for charging sequence).

9 Prevent the human body from being charged: the staff should wear anti-static shoes or conductive shoes; the ground should use conductive ground; the staff should wear anti-static work clothes.
