Our main achievements in the past 12 years
First, rock climbing
(1) In October 1989, he participated in the 3rd National Climbing Competition, Lectra's strong hand and won the men's doubles runner-up.
(2) In May 1990, he participated in the first Beijing College Rock Climbing Competition and swept men and women in the championship and runner-up, and won the first place in the group.
(3) In July 1990, he participated in the Fourth National Climbing Competition and won the men's singles runner-up (Xie Ruxiang), the fifth runner up (Xie Jinsong) and the sixth runner-up (He Danhua). The group is ranked second in the country.
(4) In October 1994, he participated in the 6th National Climbing Competition and won the eighth place in the men's singles.
(5) In September 1996, he participated in the Baiquan Climbing Invitational Tournament in Hui County, Henan Province and won the eighth place in the men's singles.
(6) In July 1998, he participated in Huashan "Clock Tower Cup" International Climbing Invitational. He won the eighth place in the women's natural field (Wang Hao) and the fourth place in the Men's Difficult Competition (Zhao Lei).
(7) In October 1999, he participated in the Seventh National Rock Climbing Championship and won the second place in the men's speed race (Sun Bin), the third place in the difficulty race (Zhao Lei), the sixth place in the women's speed race (if one), and the eighth place (Zhu Haiyan).
(8) In October 2000, he participated in the Eighth National Rock Climbing Competition. Zhao Lei, a 95th student of Peking University, won the men's national championship.
In order to further popularize the rock climbing campaign, under the sponsorship of the Guangzhou Rescue P&G Co., Ltd.'s Rejoy Brand Division, in 1997, an artificial rock face that met international standards was established in Peking University and opened a new chapter in the North Rock climbing movement.
Second, climbing
The team of Peking University’s mountaineering team has opened up a new era of Chinese folk mountain alpine adventures. It is an amateur mountaineering organization with considerable strength in China. Peking University is known for its tradition of alpine climbing. As early as the 1950s, a large number of national mountaineers emerged and Ding Xingyou, the first mountaineering martyr in New China, emerged. In the new era, Beijing University Mountaineering Team raised funds by itself and managed it at its own risk. The company provided sponsorship, climbed a snow mountain once a year, trained 3 national mountaineering athletes, 10 national level climbers and many countries 2 and 3 The mountaineering athletes have created new roads for the development of mass mountaineering in China and have also demonstrated the grace and elegance of Chinese contemporary college students. This is a concentrated expression of the spirit of Peking University.
(1) In August 1990, under the sponsorship of the Tianjin Taiwanese-funded enterprise Galiga Development Co., Ltd., the team went to Qinghai to climb the East Kunlun Jade Zhu Feng of 6178 meters above sea level. This is the first time the Peking University team climbed the snow-capped mountains. It was also the first time that Chinese folks climbed the snow-capped mountains in community form. The team consisted of 11 members (3 women) who climbed from the southern slope on August 24, 26 and 27 respectively. This pioneering success has opened up the history of Peking University's new era of climbing. In response, a number of news agencies reported in detail.
(2) In February 1991, 29 members of the team braved the cold of -30 degrees Celsius, stood in the winds of Grades 7 and 8, and climbed the top of Mount Wutai, the highest peak in North China (at an altitude of 3058 meters), and Conducted a scientific investigation.
(3) In August 1991, under the sponsorship of Coca-Cola China Ltd., he first tried the “father of the glacier†Muztagag at an altitude of 7546 meters in Xinjiang. This is the only attempt by the Beijing University Team to reach the summit so far, but the whole process has sublimated the significance of the mountaineering. The team members participated in three rescue operations without hesitation in the mountaineering process, reflecting the broad mind of the climbers. The story was reported. In the harsh climate, there were still five players who had reached a height of more than seven kilometers. After the start of school, they had to abandon the summit.
(4) In August 1992, Coca-Cola China Limited again sponsored my team to go to Tibet to climb the Nyainqentanglha Central Peak (7,117m), a mountain that the Chinese had never conquered. The three players reached the summit. This activity has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life. Major news organizations are eager to report on it.
