China's first homemade CD injection molding machine was successfully developed

China's first digital disc injection molding machine with independent intellectual property rights has recently passed the technology appraisal organized by the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province.
The CD-ROM injection machine was developed by Guangdong Kenli Machine Co., Ltd. on the basis of its "four-cylinder hydraulic injection molding machine". In April of this year, experts from the National Optical Disc Center of Tsinghua University showed that the CD, VCD, and CD-R discs all met the international standards, especially the clamping force and injection pressure of the disc injection molding machine. The self-adaptation, mold self-positioning and precision injection compression features are more innovative than foreign products.
The price of this digital disc injection molding machine is only about 1/4 that of imported similar products, which is more than 2 million yuan each. It is estimated that in the next 20 years, the demand for optical discs in China will increase at an annual average rate of more than 30%. The market potential of such devices is huge.
