Recently, Shanghai Yaohua FRP Co., Ltd. and Nanchang Construction Engineering Group decided to jointly invest 150 million yuan in the first phase of the establishment of Nanchang Yaohua Glass & Steel Co., Ltd. The company will become the largest glass steel production and sales base south of the Yangtze River in China.
The company is one of the 500 large-scale state-owned industrial enterprises in China, a subsidiary company of Shanghai Building Materials Group. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of large-caliber FRP sand-sanding pipelines and other glass steel products. The company cooperated with the Institute of Composite Materials of Tongji University in Shanghai and jointly developed a large-diameter winding fiber-reinforced plastic sand retaining pipe with a leading domestic level, especially in the process design of the pipe, which is highly targeted for the soft soil foundation of the Yangtze River Delta. The company introduced the equipment of American ANDERSON company, established a complete FRP sand-sand pipe automatic production line, can produce DN200-DN2600 series of pipe, production technology has reached the domestic advanced level, the annual output reached 15,000 tons. FRP sand pipe has been widely used in tap water, sewage and municipal drainage projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces.
