According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to September this year, the home textile industry completed a total investment of 53.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.81%, an increase of 16.52 percentage points over the same period of the previous year. According to customs data, from January to September, China's household textiles completed a total of 299.14 import and export trade, an increase of 0.44%. Among them, imports were 1.106 billion US dollars, down 5.34% year-on-year. Exports were 28.803 billion U.S. dollars, up 0.68% year-on-year. The growth rate was 5.17 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year; the export volume increased by 9.42% year-on-year, and the export unit price decreased by 7.99% year-on-year. In the month of September, the import of home textile products was 139 million US dollars, down 0.68% year-on-year; the export was 3.429 billion US dollars, up 5.18% year-on-year.

From January to September, exports to the US, Europe and Japan were US$15.095 billion, up 3.44% year-on-year, accounting for 52.41% of China's total domestic textile exports. Exports to other markets except the US, Europe and Japan totaled US$13.708 billion, down 2.20% year-on-year. In addition, the export market along the “Belt and Road” market was US$10.87 billion, down 2.29% year-on-year.

According to the Customs News, from January to September, China's textile industry exported a total of 1985.19 billion US dollars, an increase of 0.9%. Among them, the total export of textile yarns, fabrics and products was US$80.664 billion, up 2.9% year-on-year; the total export of clothing and clothing accessories was US$117.585 billion, down 0.4% year-on-year.

In the future, China's home textile industry faces enormous opportunities.
