One year (1905) of the Guangxu period, the technician of the "Commercial Press" hired a Japanese intaglio. Guangxuyi four years (1908), Peking's "Treasury Printing and Casting Bureau" hired LJ Hatch to guide the use of universal engraving machine, gravure printing large motor and other valuable securities. In the three years of Xuantong (1911), the Chinese people Shen Junfengji went to study the gravure in Japan and did his teacher's Japanese expert Keiichi Kobayashi's true biography. In the 6th year of the Republic of China (1917), British American Tobacco Company used the photogravure method to print the European Warfare pictorial in Shanghai. In the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923), the “Commercial Press†hired a German technician, E. Heinicker, to pass on the photogravure method and to purchase the intaglio equipment of the tobacco company the following year. In the twenty-fourth year of the Republic of China (1935), the “Zhonghua Book Company†rotated its gravure printing machine from Germany to engage in the printing of bank notes. In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1940), CITIC established a printing office and printed office of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Finance as a printing factory in Chongqing to print government securities. In four years, the Central Printing Factory was established. In 1973, Taipei’s Daquan Caiyi Industrial Co., Ltd. began printing various packaging materials in gravure. In the 60th year of the Republic of China (1971), the Central Printing Plant Wanhua Plant changed its use of the dry printing method. The following year, it purchased the world's newest gravure printing equipment and increased the construction of the new Ankang plant to become a world-class company. In the 72nd year of the Republic of China, the Taipei paper mill purchased new equipment. The self-made banknotes were successful, watermarks and dark lines were added, and they had a high degree of security.
